ON PERSONAL / NON-RP BLOGS

Not that I expect this to be much of an issue with this blog in particular considering this is an OC, but I do not mind personal blogs following me. Please keep in mind that I am not going to follow back any personal blogs myself.

Please do not reblog my ooc posts if you are a personal blog. You may like them, but please refrain from spamming my likes on a ton of posts at once. I need that space in my activity feed for other reasons and it’s incredibly aggravating to try and sort through dozens of likes from a personal blog to find one reply or answered question notification from a writing partner.

The rules still apply to you no matter how insignificant and irrelevant you may think they are. Please be respectful.

INTERACTION

I am private and selective, meaning I only roleplay with mutuals. This is for my own comfort so please don’t take it personally!

I check out most blogs as soon as I see them follow me and provided I can see some potential for interaction between our characters I usually follow back within a couple of days.

I follow most muses based off musicals and other fandoms I'm familiar with, and I will generally follow back fairly quickly. I may hold off on interaction if I haven’t heard the show your muse is from yet, but pretty much as soon as I know what’s going on I’ll start reaching out.

I will rp with duplicates, but I will treat every portrayal as it's own separate universe unless discussed beforehand.

I typically don’t unfollow unless a blog goes inactive, but if you continually disregard my rules, or if we don’t interact at all and don’t make any effort to interact, in character or not, I may unfollow you.

Mun =/= Muse. My muses’ views do not necessarily reflect my own.

I am not a fast writer and my muse comes and goes sporadically. Please be patient with waiting for thread replies and ask answers. I almost never lose threads and chances are your thread is tucked away safely in my drafts waiting for my response, but if it’s been over two weeks with no response I don’t mind if you want to check in with me. Don’t nag or harass me over taking my time, though, please.

TRIGGERS

Due to the nature of Dear Evan Hansen and Falsettos, heavy themes of suicide and depression will likely be present on this blog. I’ll do my best to tag everything accordingly but please don’t hesitate to tell me if I miss something.

RULE PASSWORDS

I do not require a rules password, and I typically do not send in rules passwords if they are optional because they can make my social anxiety worse. I most likely will not follow blogs that outright require them with no exception, but if yours is only optional, just know that my follow means I have read all of your rules.

POST FORMATTING

I use 75x75px icons, small text, and some bold and italicization when I feel like it in my replies. You do not have to use all of, or any of these things if you do not want to.

I do try to match my partner’s overall writing style and length of response. Sometimes this works better than it does at other times, but if I ever write a reply that you think is severely lacking, please let me know and I’ll try to rewrite it. I will never take it as a personal attack.

My personal preference is for paragraph format or one-liners. I can also do script format or attempt novella ( note that anything longer than a few paragraphs may take me MONTHS to properly reply to ). The only thing I will not do is back-and-forth gifs.

Please trim posts! It’s much tidier and way more convenient. three inch-thick blockquote columns skyrocket my anxiety. And also slow down my computer and make chrome crash.

Similar to the topic of trimming posts, I do not mind people turning ask memes into threads, but I will not reblog asks back and forth. I will move the response to a new text post and continue from there.

RELATIONSHIPS

I will pretty much leave it up to my partner to decide whether their muse is familiar with my character before interaction or not. I have no problem with this as long as your character does not claim to know things about my characters that they shouldn’t know.

Shipping is pretty chill as long as there is chemistry between our characters or we have a planned relationship through plotting.

I live for pre-established relationship stuff so please don’t be afraid to IM me about it if you’re interested.

Forcing ships is not cool and will not be tolerated. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.

Smut will not happen on this blog. I am well of age but not comfortable writing it so I would prefer not to. Em is asexual, and a vehmently sex-repulsed one at that, but she might say naughty things from time to time.

I don’t strictly follow reblog karma. I usually try to make sure I send a few memes to the people I reblog them from, but sometimes I forget or I get nervous about accidentally sending the wrong thing and/or overstepping my boundaries. I do not expect anything in return when I send memes.
